4th of July is upon us! Below is a list of various events happening throughout the California Central Coast. A lot of firework shows were canceled, unfortunately, so I recommend researching whether or not you’ll be near a city that will still be hosting a spectacular show. Friendly reminder that California has zero tolerance for the sale and use of illegal fireworks and we are in a severe drought — We do not need another wildfire to start.

Arroyo Grande: Concert in the Park in Downtown Arroyo Grande at 1pm
Atascadero: 4th of July Bluegrass Freedom Festival at Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand at 2pm
Avila Beach: 4th of July Doggie Parade at the Avila Beach Promenade at 11am
Cambria: American Legion Post No. 432 family style get together at the Veterans Memorial Building at noon
Carmel-by-the-Sea: 4th of July Celebration at Devendorf Park at noon
Cayucos: Small-Scale Fireworks Show from the pier. Festivities run from 9am – 9pm
Goleta: Rotary Clubs fireworks festival at Girsh Park at 5pm
Lompoc: 4th of July Spectacular Fireworks at Ryon Park from 5pm – 10pm
Montecito: Annual Village 4th of July Parade at Upper Manning Park at 11:30am
Monterey: *CANCELED* Pancake Breakfast with Monterey Firefighters, City Parade, Big Little Backyard Bar-B-Que and Entertainment Extravaganza, and Living History Day
Morro Bay: Morro Bay Art in the Park at Morro Bay at 10am
Pacific Grove: America’s Last Hometown at 11am
Paso Robles: 4th of July Bash at Cass at Cass Winery’s Barrel Room at 4pm
Pismo Beach: Fireworks Celebration at the Pismo Beach Pier. Festivities run from 9am – 9pm
Santa Barbara: Independence Day Brunch at Rosewood Miramar Beach at 11am, Foresters Baseball Game at Pershing Park at 2pm, and Independence Day Fireworks at 9pm
Santa Maria: *CANCELED* Fireworks
Solvang: The Rotary Club of Solvang’s “God Bless America” Parade at 11am
Templeton: Pancake Breakfast by the Templeton Firefighter’s Association at Templeton Park at 7am and Templeton Parade at 10:30am
