Chase Monday Blues Away at the Santa Barbara Sailing Center

Happy Monday! Or, as I like to call it, pre-pre-pre-pre Friday! I know, I know, I know, Mondays can be rough, and at times, brutal, but you know what? Monday is always the perfect time to reboot and start fresh. I believe we should all work on shifting our perspective and start looking forward to the start of the new week, specifically…Mondays.

Personally, I love to spend my lunch break wisely and try my best to do something that brings me happiness, like go for a long walk at the beach, sneak in a workout, or meet up with my mom for a quick bite. Whatever I decide to do, I’m typically drawn to the ocean because I’ve realized that it’s a place to escape the hyper-connected, over-stimulated state of modern day life, in favor of a rare moment of solitude. I think this is why I chose to chase my Monday blues away while sailing at the Santa Barbara Sailing Center today!

I’ve been so stressed out with everything going on lately that I decided to take a longer lunch break today and hop on the Double Dolphin. The combination of the ocean air, cooler weather, and soothing swaying of the waves is the cure to my Monday blues. We enjoyed a delicious charceuterie board and a glass of Margerum Sauvignon Blanc while taking in the beautiful sights of Santa Barbara in the distance, something that I often take for granted.

The Santa Barbara Sailing Center is here to help everyone dump their Monday blues! Did you know on Mondays locals get $10 off their cruise? Yup, it’s true! And, did you know that Monday is the best day of the week to hop on the double dolphin catamaran? Yup, also true! Everyone is so busy working that they forget that they can take a relaxing break or catch one of our million dollar sunsets, so you basically get the whole cruise to yourself.

I feel like I’m heading into the week with excitement and a positive mindset after showering myself with some self-love by taking a long lunch at the Santa Barbara Sailing Center. The California Central Coast is so fortunate to have them readily available!

So long, Monday blues! It’s been nice knowing ya’!
